Gyraffe Decorative Gypsum Plaster is a high-strength gypsum plaster developed for the production of decorative and architectural gypsum elements, manufactured from high-purity natural gypsum. It offers excellent mouldability, sharp detail reproduction, high whiteness and reliable mechanical strength for both factory production and on-site decorative work.

Process of Jointing & Finishing
First Coat
- Using an applicator / Trowel, fill the recess formed by the edges of the sheets with Gyraffe.
- Centre the paper tape along the joint and press it down into the Gyraffe, ensuring no air bubbles remain.
- Immediately apply a thin coat of Gyraffe over the tape (100–150 mm wide).
- Allow it to dry.
Second Coat
- Apply a second coat of Gyraffe with an Applicator / Trowel.
- Ensure this coat extends outside the first coat (200–250 mm wide).
- Allow to dry and scrape back any build-up along the joint.
Third Coat
- Apply a finishing coat of Gyraffe with an Applicator / Trowel.
- Feather joint edges at least 50 mm beyond the previous coat.
- Allow to dry, then lightly sand along the joint with finer sandpaper.
