Gyraffe Machine Application Gypsum Plaster is a high-performance gypsum plaster specially developed for continuous spray machines. It provides excellent pumpability, high productivity and a smooth finish, making it ideal for large-scale interior plastering projects.

Process of Jointing & Finishing
First Coat
- Using an applicator / Trowel, fill the recess formed by the edges of the sheets with Gyraffe.
- Centre the paper tape along the joint and press it down into the Gyraffe, ensuring no air bubbles remain.
- Immediately apply a thin coat of Gyraffe over the tape (100–150 mm wide).
- Allow it to dry.
Second Coat
- Apply a second coat of Gyraffe with an Applicator / Trowel.
- Ensure this coat extends outside the first coat (200–250 mm wide).
- Allow to dry and scrape back any build-up along the joint.
Third Coat
- Apply a finishing coat of Gyraffe with an Applicator / Trowel.
- Feather joint edges at least 50 mm beyond the previous coat.
- Allow to dry, then lightly sand along the joint with finer sandpaper.

Continuous spray plastering machines — it is formulated for excellent pumpability and high output on large areas.
Initial set is 60 – 90 minutes and final set 120 – 180 minutes, which is what makes large bays practical.
10 – 20 mm on walls (30 mm maximum) and up to 10 mm on ceilings.
