Gyraffe Wall Finishing Plaster is a fine gypsum skim coat designed to produce a smooth, paint-ready surface over gypsum plaster, cement plaster and concrete. It offers excellent adhesion, easy sanding and a high-quality decorative finish.

Process of Jointing & Finishing
Surface Preparation
- Clean the substrate and remove loose material.
- Dampen or apply a bonding agent on smooth/absorbent surfaces.
- Set level screeds as depth guides.
Base Coat Application
- Apply the Coat Plaster between the screeds to build thickness.
- Rule off to a true, level plane with an H-rule.
- Fill any hollows and re-rule.
Keying for the Finish
- While still green, key the surface with a scratching comb.
- Allow to firm up before the finish coat.
- Protect the surface from rapid drying.

Gypsum plaster, cement plaster and concrete — producing a smooth, paint-ready finish.
1 – 3 mm is recommended, giving coverage of approximately 18 – 22 m² per 25 kg bag at 1 mm.
Initial set is 90 – 120 minutes and final set 150 – 180 minutes; sand lightly once fully set.
0.50 – 0.55 litres of water per kilogram of powder.
